Clear Creek

On September 24th, our 5th graders set out before sunrise for a day at Clear Creek Outdoor Camp—a beautiful, nature-centered retreat nestled near Scofield Reservoir. The camp offered the perfect setting for students to experience outdoor learning, leadership development, and unforgettable fun together.

Throughout the day, students rotated through a variety of activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and community. They challenged themselves on the certified low ropes course, working together to solve problems and support one another. Guided hikes along winding forest trails offered opportunities for exploration, reflection, and connecting with the natural world.

The camp’s amphitheater served as a scenic gathering spot for group games, discussions, and moments of celebration. Students enjoyed meals together in the camp’s lunchroom, sharing stories and laughter as they recharged for more adventure.

From sports in the open fields to team-building workshops in flexible meeting spaces, every moment at Clear Creek encouraged our 5th graders to step up as leaders, try new things, and strengthen the bonds of friendship. After a full day of learning and fun, students returned home tired but inspired.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to visit Clear Creek Outdoor Camp and proud of our 5th graders for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive attitudes. This memorable experience will help shape their leadership and community spirit for years to come.
