Grovecrest Teachers and Room Parents - Save the Date! This is an event just for the two of you to come together and discuss the needs of the classroom and help with organizing parent volunteers! Parents and Teachers working together is vital and makes our school so awesome!

School starts tomorrow! At Grovecrest we have 4 buses, so we'd like to share some reminders about how to stay safe! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

As we gear up for school, we'd like to share the Pick-Up and Drop Off Routes in the parking lot. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not load or unload in the white lane so that we can maintain safety as well as a smooth traffic flow. Thank you so much!

Parents, this night is for you! Come to Back to School Night for all kinds of information about the upcoming school year!

Meet the Teacher is scheduled a day earlier this year! Come to our student/teacher event for students to drop off supplies, meet their teachers, and check out the booths of information near the front of the school! This is an informal, quick meet and greet.
Parents, Back to School Night is a more formal event during the second week of school and we will have loads of great information for you then!

Kindergarten testing will take place 19th-24th. The first day of school will be on August 25th! If you have completed Kindergarten Registration, more information about when your child will test, teacher assignments, and Kindergarten Meet the Teacher will be emailed to you!

Did you know that Grovecrest Elementary is a Purple Star School? That means that we work hard to support military-connected children. We have a special club just for those students! Big numbers, bigger hearts! 📊❤️ Here is a look at what the Grovecrest Elementary School Counseling program accomplished during the 25-26 school year.

From schoolwide lessons to small groups and individual sessions, we’ve tackled everything from emotional regulation to building lifelong friendships. A huge thank you to our new school counselor, Mrs. Jensen, along with students, staff, and families, for partnering with us to make mental wellness and student support a priority this year! 💙

National Speech Language Pathologist Day in 2026 will be on Monday, May 18th. This day celebrates the vital contributions of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) who help individuals overcome communication and swallowing difficulties. It's a day to acknowledge the work of SLPs in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practices.

Our Annual School Awards Ceremony will take place on May 21st at 9:30 am, celebrating all the amazing feats and accomplishments that took place throughout the school year!

Come to our Annual Dance Festival on May 19th @ 10:00 am! See you there!
