"Hi, my name is Madie Rousseau, and I’m excited to join Westmore this year as a kindergarten teacher! I’m from Dallas, Texas, where I was lucky to have teachers who made learning exciting and supported me through challenges. Outside the classroom, I enjoy painting, eating good food, and spending time with friends and family.
I completed my elementary education degree at Utah Valley University (UVU), where I student taught kindergarten last year. I’m thrilled to begin my teaching career with a class of my own! My goal is to create a positive space where all students, despite their differences, can develop a love of learning and grow as individuals. I look forward to being part of the Westmore community and getting to know you and your students!"
